LOVERDOVER girlie dress Review/GIVEAWAY!!!

I can spend days browsing at Etsy. There are so many amazingly talented people there, I always come away feeling in awe & inspired. 

One day my particular interest while browsing was little girl's dresses. There were SO many cute designs.

One shop stood out. LOVERDOVER had the only dresses like them on Etsy. Vintage inspired, classic designs that bring to mind fresh baked pies and white picket fences - SO cute and perfect for little girls.

Everything in the shop is totally cute including her daughter who models the little ditties. You can see her grow from a munchkin wearing the adorable romper to the big girl wearing the Little Mermaid design.

These dresses are special. Even when paired with fuzzy slippers like Haylie here :))

AGELESS Perfume Review & Giveaway

Ageless by Harvey Prince, is a patent pending anti aging perfume that was born of research that connects scent with age perception. Research has proven that men around a woman wearing Ageless believe she is at least 8 years younger than she is! Wow huh?

With top notes that sound like a yummy fruit salad - pink grapefruit, pineapple, mango, apple, leafy green, & pomegranate.

Mid notes that bring to mind a wedding bouquet - jasmine, lily of the valley, cherry blossom, & peony.

And dry notes that conjure up thoughts of a warm fireplace on a cold, rainy night - soft musk, precious woods, & vanilla.

How can this be wrong?

I am a perfume girl. A very picky perfume girl. I generally opt for warm, spicy scents. Hate sporty, greatly dislike floral or sweet. So although an anti-aging fragrance sounded like perfection, I was almost sure that the scent would be too sickly sweet to wear even if it promised I'd morph into Helena Christensen. I was so wrong. It's wonderful and although it's a little sweet, Harvey Prince did an amazing job of blending fruity, floral, & woodsy to create a perfect, uplifting, youthful scent.

It is a new favorite. I think it is my sister's new favorite as well. She grabs a spray every time she stops by. 

I give Ageless 5 stars.

What I think 

I have been using the Baby Q since April 21. I use it every other day. That means that I have done 8 treatments. I have seen results already, I kid you not. 

I don't have much sign of aging yet, but my left side laugh line is too deep and it drive me nuts. It's the first thing I see when I look in the mirror. There are also shadowy looking areas that bother me. 

In my 8 treatments, I feel that my complexion is brighter and has a more healthy color, that naggy laugh line is ever so subtly more plump, and I feel like my face is slightly more contoured. I am excited about this from such a small number of uses. Just imagine the possibilities!

Each treatment lasts about 26 minutes. I started by standing at the bathroom vanity looking in the mirror. But as I have become comfortable with the procedure, I have developed a routine that I quite enjoy. After my night time bath or shower, I take the Baby Q to bed with me. I can read and do the treatment at the same time. It's actually very relaxing. I miss it on my off day.

I have also started devoting time for my under chin and neck as I know those parts will age too.

I am really excited about having a Baby Quasar and intend on it being a constant part of my skin care routine.

Right in the heart of Kansas City’s busy arts district is this quiet little soap company, where prayer and intention are a part of every batch and the products are pure bliss. The woman blending essential oils at the sprawling work table is Jen Denslow (oh, and the toddler is her son).

What I think

I received the Body Lather in Soulshine and Sore Muscle Soaking Salts. Soulshine is like a yummy mix of orange candy and spicy, warm incense. It gives truth to aromatherapy - it awakens the senses and elevates your mood just sudsing up in the shower. The Sore Muscle Soaking Salts create a relaxing and soothing bath that induces the best night of sleep ever.  

I love that the ingredients are natural, pure and have a healthful purpose. That each component was added thoughtfully and to each batch is added LOVE.

Yummy bath treats for me - I've already explained to the kids that they must ask to use first. This cannot be used in the shaving cream, shampoo & bubble bath potions.
