I have found that if I start my day with a bowl of Fiber One and some fruit or a yogurt, that I can make it until dinner without being hungry. Fiber One does contain gluten, and while I am not strictly gluten free, I am conscious of how much I consume.

I love the idea of this set. As far as teaching, or learning Shakespeare, performing it is really how to best understand it. So for teaching Shakespeare, it's excellent.
 
Also, the verbiage is authentic Shakespeare,which often times is not the case in sets or books to teach children. To me Shakespeare is Shakespeare and to change it makes it not Shakespeare.
 
The finger puppets are awesome & include all the characters you associate with Shakespeare. The graphics are wonderful and it's cool to see these characters come to life.
 
The only part of this set that I'm not thrilled with, is that the stories are a little too condensed for me. The plays are not complete. But it's not a huge deal, if we want to act out all of the scenes, I can provide what's missing from a book, or online source.
 
Over all I think this is a fun set & great learning tool. Yes Shakespeare can be fun!

We did a date night over the weekend. It was really nice. I made the Macaroni Grill Creamy Basil chicken & pasta. I whipped up a nice salad, garlic bread, & served Lambrusco. I normally don't think of date night being at home, but we had a much needed date and it was right here at home! We rented a couple movies, but half through a terrible one, we shut it off and spent time just talking - was nice :)

Shaun can’t resist trying the wig on but loses it while showing off to the flock. The race is on as Shaun and Bitzer try to return the wig in time for the Farmer’s big night.



“Pig Swill Fly” - The farm is looking spotless and everyone is on their best behavior when the dreaded farm inspector pays a visit. While the Inspector checks out the inside of the farmhouse, war breaks out in the field between the sheep and the pigs. Can Bitzer prevent the Inspector from noticing as the chaos escalates outside?



· “Operation Pidsley” - While the Farmer is away, the sheep sneak into the farmhouse for a party. But when Pidsley snaps a photograph of the fun and games, Shaun and Bitzer need to catch the malicious cat before he can show the incriminating evidence to the Farmer.



“Shaun Goes Potty” - The farm receives a delivery of a brand new pool table. Before the Farmer can take it indoors, Bitzer and the flock have a game with disastrous consequences. They must repair the damage before the Farmer finds out!



“Pig Trouble” - When Bitzer injures his foot and can’t work, the Farmer chooses the pigs to take over his role. The power crazy pigs take the opportunity to turn the farm into a porky paradise – at the sheep’s expense. Bitzer tries in vain to warn his master what is going on behind his back, but it’s Shaun who steps in and restores the status quo.
 
We love shaun the Sheep. It's witty & wholesome - like old school cartoons - nothing adult about it, just cute funny stuff. I like to sit down with Ju & watch it - it's entertaining to me too :)

I am really liking this wool in two set. I have now lanolized the wool cover three times. I've noticed a cumulative effect and now I think I've gotten it to it's full moisture resistancy.

I was a little intimidated by the lanolizing process at first, but it's cake. Really easy.

I find myself using wool most at night and might get up midway and change the soaker, but the wool lasts the night through. Then in the morning I hang the wool to dry and it's ready to use again that night. Love it and am going to invest in more wool.

Natural materials are just better - they allow breathability, & loft like no synthetic can. I feel good about natural fibers being contact with my baby's skin, where as any time there are synthetics, I have to worry a bit. With Tidbit Couture, there is no worry :)

So yeah, I highly recommend this system. It's versatile - it comes with a snap in soaker & doubler, but you can use with a fitted or prefold and use any doubler with the wool cover, and the same with the soaker & double - you can use it with any other cover. That makes it nice.

Comes in nice colors. The wool cover is merino wool  interlock & the soaker insert and doubler is organic cotton velour. Nice and soft :)

Breast cancer awareness month 2010 is bigger than ever - and that is a wonderful thing. It has also been a harsh reminder, every pink ribbon I see, of my dear friend who lost her battle to breast cancer last January. I had never been affected by cancer before then. I feel bad even typing the word. I think of her everyday.
 
Every lid is close to a cure, closer to one more child not losing their mother to breast cancer. Save lids, save lives. Every lid counts. It effects all of us. I encourage you to get tested and monitored regularly by your doctor or gynecologist & do regular self exams.

Bit'Z Kids ~ Review

This review was a disaster and I'm going to have to report it as such. I have never had something like this happen.

Bit'Z Kids has wonderfully cute, stylish, and quality clothes for children. The outfit you see on Ju above was provided to me by them to review.

I took this pic of him releasing the butterflies he raised, right before we left for the lakes this Summer. I packed this outfit, planning to take some amazing pictures of him at the scenic lake. When I got there I couldn't find the top. I called home and it couldn't be found here either. We all looked EVERYWHERE for this top.

So when I got home from the trip I called the cleaners from the lake house and everything. The shirt was gone, and I was ready to pop with Capri.

I went into false labor while my Grandma was still here. Following this life got hectic - lots of out of town doctors appts to monitor my progress. Super hectic & stressful with swollen feet & hot summer.

I get a rather nasty letter from Bit'Z Kids owner. I can't say I blamed him but figured once I explained he would completely understand. I still planned on hosting the review. I decided I would purchase another shirt to replace the lost one. I told him I would do it the next day but didn't realize the credit card was maxed. I paid the card and about a week later I go & order the shirt. The day after it arrives in the mail, I get a really nasty letter billing me and dropping words like "attorney fees".

Honestly this review was near the last thing on my mind at this point - I was two weeks over due and facing the opposite type of delivery that I had worked hard to prepare for. And after the letter, I was ready not to do the thing anyway.

But in all fairness, I did take way longer than normal to get this work done. But it in no way warranted the treatment I received and I'm not going to give a great review. I hope that this shop owner treated me like this on a fluke, just as my delay and loosing of the shirt was a fluke on my part.

Havaianas ~ Sandals ~ GIVEAWAY!!! ~ Ends 10/16

Like a comfy rainbow for your feet, Havainas has every color, and every fun design flip flops.

I love my flops and Havaianas are the best. They got me through the whole summer. I think the only time I wasn't in them was when I had on my bad boys to mow the yard in! I seriously wore them all Summer long and now that cooler weather is setting in, I'm realizing I'm going to have to retire them until next year :(

The good news is, there will always be Havainas in all my favorite colors next year. I always have black and grey as staples and I add a couple fun colors or designs. Blacks are always beat up ready to be tossed at the end of the season.

I am happy to say that I have never had a blow out in my Havainas. That was just something that happened with the other brand and it was just a good thing when it happened at the beach vs the grocery store or something.

The latest style I am liking is the FIT - again had to do black. A little more stylish, boho - cute with a flowy skirt or capris. I love them - aren't they cute?

And think goodness this review is over - I'm so tired of spelling Havaianas!!!!
